Orange County Global Medical Center (OCGMC) is proud to be one of only three designated adult trauma centers in Orange County, offering life-saving services as a Level II Trauma Center. OCGMC has been committed to providing the highest-quality trauma care for every aspect of injury—spanning prevention, immediate life-saving treatment, and rehabilitation. Our experienced, multidisciplinary team includes board-certified emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic specialists, and anesthesiologists, working together to meet the needs of critically injured patients.

Our commitment to community health extends beyond the hospital walls through strong partnerships with local organizations. Collaborating with schools, community groups, and other stakeholders, we provide essential education to help prevent injuries and promote safer lifestyles. Programs like Stop the Bleed teach life-saving skills, empowering participants to respond effectively in emergencies. Initiatives such as Every 15 Minutes in local high schools raise awareness about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving, encouraging responsible decision-making among young drivers. Through our Youth Drug, Alcohol, and Falls Prevention Education (YDAD) program, we work closely with youth organizations to educate young people on the risks associated with substance abuse and preventable injuries.
Additionally, we support local events by offering first aid services at runs and other community activities, promoting health and safety while strengthening ties with the people we serve.
OCGMC is home to the first Southern California chapter of the Trauma Survivors Network (TSN). In partnership with the American Trauma Society, TSN creates a supportive community where trauma survivors and their families can connect, share their experiences, and rebuild their lives. The program provides critical information about trauma, connects patients with resources to support stable recovery, and addresses the unique needs of families during the healing journey.
This program reflects our belief that trauma care doesn’t stop once patients leave the hospital. TSN offers resources and tools that foster long-term recovery and resilience. For more information, visit traumasurvivorsnetwork.org to learn how this remarkable program is making a difference.
