As one of only three designated adult trauma centers in Orange County, Orange County Global Medical Center (OCGMC), a Level II Trauma Center, provides critical, life-saving care. OCGMC is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of trauma care, encompassing injury prevention, immediate treatment, and rehabilitation. Our experienced, multidisciplinary team, including board-certified emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic specialists, and anesthesiologists, collaborates to address the needs of critically injured patients.

What are the general visitation hours?
All visitation ends at 10:00 PM and will be announced. Specific unit hours vary (see below). All visitors must present identification (ID). Visitors must be 14 years or older unless otherwise specified. There is a two-visitor limitation at a time on acute care unit (AU) floors. Visitation hours are subject to change. All personal property (backpacks, purses, bags, etc.) are subject to search.
What are the visitation hours for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Unit (CCU)?
Visitation hours are 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM-10:00 PM. No visitation is allowed from 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM, and 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
What are the visitation hours for the 4th, 6th, and 7th floors?
Visitation hours are 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM. No visitation is allowed from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
What are the visitation hours for the 5th Floor Senior Mental Health (SMH) unit?
Visitation hours are 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. No visitation is allowed from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
What are the Dining Hall hours?
he Dining Hall (Cafeteria) is open 7 days a week. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM, Lunch from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and Dinner from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
What food options are available in the Cafeteria?
The Cafeteria offers affordable hot meals, a salad bar, and grill items. Vending machines are also available.
What security services are available?
The Public Safety Department provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They can escort patients and visitors to and from the parking lot.
What should I do if I lose an item while hospitalized?
